  • Our aim as an academy is for literacy to be a central component of all of our curriculum to:
    • develop each student’s competency in both written and spoken English.
    • encourage the transfer of literacy skills across the curriculum
  • To do this our key focus is on 4 areas:
    • Whole school CPD.
    • Raising success in reading.
    • Raising success in writing.
    • Raising success in speaking and listening.
